Applications

These indexable inserts are perfectly suited for face milling work in both single-part and series production. Combined with appropriate 45° face milling cutters, they open up flexible application possibilities when machining steel (P15-P25) and stainless steel (M10-M25) using the RT300 grade. The RT100 grade is specifically tailored for milling aluminum, copper, brass, and various plastics, where sharp cutting edges and low cutting pressure are required.

Special features

The RT300 version stands out with its robust PVD coating, which supports the machining of heat-resistant and abrasive materials while minimizing thermal wear. For non-ferrous metals and plastics, the RT100 variant features an uncoated surface designed to reduce built-up edge formation. Both models share an identical inscribed circle (IC) of 12.7 mm and can be easily mounted on compatible milling tools, noticeably simplifying setup procedures in daily operations.
