High-Performance Edge Machining with the Solid Carbide Chamfer Mill 120°
Machining wide chamfers and deburring large areas require tools that perform reliably even with varying workpiece materials. The solid carbide chamfer mill with a 120° point angle represents a well-thought-out solution for these tasks. Its robust design made of fine-grain carbide, combined with the advanced RT303 PVD coating, opens up flexible application possibilities in industrial manufacturing and general mechanical engineering.

Applications
This milling cutter is specifically designed for producing flat chamfers and deburring large areas of workpiece edges. The 120-degree angle proves to be highly practical when preparing wide sealing surfaces or weld seams.
Thanks to its extensive material suitability, the cutter supports the economical machining of structural steels, tempered steels, stainless steels, and cast iron. The cutting edge geometry also achieves very clean results in non-ferrous metals such as aluminum alloys or brass.
Special features
The wear-resistant RT303 PVD coating significantly contributes to high thermal load capacity and stability during metal cutting. Depending on the selected diameter, the deburring mill features three or four flutes, which promotes good chip evacuation and smooth operation across different radial depths of cut.
The shank is designed either cylindrically for smaller dimensions or as a Weldon shank for maximum clamping force with larger diameters. These structural details ensure a firm grip in the tool holder and minimize the risk of vibrations during the milling process.
