Applications
This solid carbide mill is primarily designed for precise chamfer milling and edge deburring. With its 60-degree point geometry, it creates defined edges on components made of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials like aluminum. It is perfectly suited for flexible use on CNC machining centers, where it functions as a versatile tool that reduces tool changes and supports rapid deburring operations in both single-part and series production.
Special features
The PVD-coated fine-grain carbide provides a highly resilient foundation for long tool life and stable edge machining. Depending on the diameter (ranging from 3 to 16 mm), the tool features 3, 4, or 6 flutes, allowing the feed rate to be optimally adapted to the specific cutting task and material. Furthermore, a cylindrical shank for smaller variants and a Weldon shank for diameters of 6 mm and above ensure secure power transmission during milling.
