Professional Spotting with a 142° Point Angle
The HSSCo8 NC spotting drill 142° in the long version impresses with its high dimensional stability and targeted preparation for subsequent high-performance drills. The 142° point angle ensures that the following drill centers properly without wandering, significantly supporting the positional accuracy of the final hole. The cobalt-alloyed HSS quality (HSSCo8) provides the necessary endurance and temperature resistance when machining various materials.

Applications
This extended spotting drill is designed for professional use in NC and CNC machining centers. With an extended overall length of up to 170 mm, the tool is particularly suitable for deep cavities or workpieces with complex interfering contours where standard lengths are insufficient. The universal design enables efficient machining of structural steel, case-hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, as well as aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
Special features
A key feature of this centering tool is the combination of the HSSCo8 substrate and the 142° point angle, which promotes an exact cut without the twist drill wandering off-center. The robust cylindrical shank creates good conditions for a secure hold in common chucks and supports efficient workflows in series production.
