Professional Solid Carbide HPC Mill for Deep Contours

This four-flute solid carbide HPC mill in the long version represents a versatile tooling solution for modern mechanical engineering. Equipped with a reliable Weldon shank and a specific neck relief, it is precisely designed for machining deeper cavities and clearance contours. The center cutting design allows the tool to be flexibly used for plunging, while the unequally pitched helix promotes smooth operation. The high-performance PVD-TiAlN coating RT405 provides high wear resistance, making the end mill a reliable choice for roughing and finishing applications.

Applications

This solid carbide end mill is designed for machining structural steel, tempered steel, tool steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. Thanks to the neck relief and the long design, the cutting tool shows its strengths especially when milling deeper slots, pockets, and complex 3D contours. In addition to classic shoulder milling and face milling, the tool is optimally suited for ramping and plunge milling.

Special features

A crucial strength of this milling tool lies in its vibration-damping construction. The unequal helix (35°/38°) disrupts harmonic oscillations and creates good conditions for excellent surface finishes. The combination of tough solid carbide and the wear-resistant TiAlN coating supports efficient workflows with consistent results during roughing and finishing operations.
