Applications

This solid carbide drill tip offers flexible application possibilities for the universal machining of non-alloy, low alloy, and high alloy steel, as well as tool steel. Furthermore, it has proven itself in the machining of grey cast iron, nodular cast iron, and malleable cast iron. The tool is designed for professional use in mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing.

Special features

The combination of a 140° point geometry and the highly wear-resistant CVD coating ensures controlled chip evacuation and extended tool life. When using the 5xD or 8xD drill body, we recommend reducing the feed rate to 85% or 70%.
