High-performance solid carbide interchangeable drill tips WS RT19
The CVD-coated solid carbide inserts of the WS RT19 series, available in the diameter range from 20.00 to 20.90 mm, provide a highly cost-effective solution for universal drilling operations. Designed for P25/K20 applications, they are excellently suited for machining various steel and cast iron materials. The intelligent interchangeable tip system significantly reduces setup times, as only the cutting insert needs to be replaced while the carrier remains mounted in the machine. Please pay attention to the carrier/drill bit combinations! These drill bits only fit the 20,00-20,90 mm carrier.

Applications
These interchangeable drill tips demonstrate their strengths in industrial series production as well as in demanding single-part manufacturing. The universal RT19 grade is primarily designed for productive drilling operations in structural steel, unalloyed and alloyed steel, and various cast iron materials like grey or nodular cast iron. The inserts convince with reliable chip evacuation and consistent machining performance across diverse scenarios.
Special features
The combination of a tough carbide substrate and a high-performance CVD coating provides these inserts with outstanding resistance against wear and thermal stress. Furthermore, the 140° point angle ensures excellent penetration behavior and minimizes deflection, supporting a high degree of hole accuracy. When using the 5xD or 8xD drill body, we recommend reducing the feed rate to 85% or 70%.
