Professional solid carbide drill tips for steel and cast iron

The WS RT19 drill tips (25.00 to 25.90 mm) offer reliable performance for hole making in demanding work environments. They are specifically designed for use with matching WST holders. Please pay attention to the holder/drill bit combinations! These drill bits only fit the WST D25.0-..xD-H holder (25.00 to 25.90 mm). When using the 5xD or 8xD drill body, we recommend reducing the feed rate to 85% or 70%.

Applications

These tools support efficient workflows in machining production, especially in mechanical engineering and automotive manufacturing. They open up flexible application possibilities when machining unalloyed as well as low- and high-alloy steels. Furthermore, they are suitable for grey cast iron, nodular cast iron, and malleable cast iron, making them a practical choice for changing workpiece requirements.

Special features

The CVD-coated P25/K20 carbide grade is characterized by good wear resistance and thermal stability, enabling the drill tip to withstand the demands of industrial everyday use. The 140° point angle contributes to stable centering and a smooth drilling process, which benefits the quality of the produced holes.
