The PCD-Insert - CCGW ...-1N RTD10 is a highly specialized solution for high-speed aluminum turning. The cutting material PCD (Polycrystalline diamond) is a synthetically produced, extremely hard, intergrown mass of randomly oriented diamond particles in a metal matrix. This composition provides exceptional wear resistance.
ATTENTION! For abrasive materials such as aluminum with a high silicon content, brass and brass alloys, as well as brittle plastics and glass-fiber reinforced materials, you need the CCGW insert.
ATTENTION! For aluminum with a low silicon content and soft materials with long chip formation, you need the CCGT insert with a positive rake angle.
