The PCD-Insert VCGW ...-1N RTD10 is specifically engineered for machining abrasive materials. Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) offers outstanding wear resistance when turning high-silicon aluminum, brass, and fiber-reinforced plastics. Please note: This VCGW version is the right choice for abrasive workpieces. For low-silicon aluminum or soft materials producing long chips, we recommend using the VCGT geometry.
