Applications
The RT19 interchangeable tips show their strengths particularly in machining non-alloy, low-alloy, and high-alloy steels as well as various cast materials like grey, nodular, and malleable cast iron. The system is designed for professional use in automated series production, toolmaking, and general metalworking. The interchangeable design significantly reduces setup times, as the drill tip can be replaced without removing the tool from the machine.
Special features
The wear-resistant CVD coating and the robust P25/K20 substrate support reliable drilling results in continuous operation. Furthermore, the 140° point angle provides good centering behavior and reduces axial forces during the drilling process.
Please pay attention to the carrier/drill bit combinations!
These drill bits only fit the WST D18.0-..xD-H carrier (18.00 to 18.90 mm).
When using the 5xD or 8xD drill body, we recommend reducing the feed rate to 85% or 70%.
