Applications
These CVD-coated cutting inserts are developed for universal drilling tasks in non-alloy steel, low-alloy steel, as well as grey, nodular, and malleable cast iron. They are an excellent choice for professional use in mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, and general metalworking, where precision and repeatability are essential.
Special features
The P25/K20 carbide grade with CVD coating ensures high wear resistance and promotes reliable tool life. The 140° point angle facilitates optimal centering.
When using the 5xD or 8xD drill body, we recommend reducing the feed rate to 85% or 70%.
